BIM Coordinator (Riyadh)

About the role

The BIM Coordinator will manage and coordinate Building Information Modeling activities for multidisciplinary project teams at Ambatt. This full‑time, on‑site position in Riyadh oversees BIM workflows, maintains model standards, and ensures accurate information exchange between architecture, structural, and MEP stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, update, and maintain project BIM models.
• Perform clash detection, resolve coordination issues, and track related actions.
• Prepare model‑based documentation for design reviews and construction phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and engineers to support timely project delivery.
• Train team members on BIM best practices and assist with the implementation of new BIM tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of digital project delivery processes.

Required profile

• Strong BIM coordination experience, especially with multidisciplinary models.
• Background in Architecture or a related built‑environment discipline.
• Ability to interpret drawings, models, and specifications.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and their integration within BIM models.
• Project management skills to plan BIM activities and monitor progress.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to data accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant technical degree or diploma (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, etc.).
• Prior experience on medium to large‑scale projects; experience in the Saudi or GCC market is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit.
• Proficiency with Navisworks or similar clash detection tools.
• Experience applying BIM standards and protocols.
• Clash detection and issue‑tracking within BIM environments.
