Biology & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a freelance specialist who can design and implement computational biology problems for AI training projects. The work is project‑based, remote, and focuses on creating realistic, data‑driven challenges that require Python programming and bioinformatics expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that mimic real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, BioPython, and Pandas.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop challenges that require non‑trivial reasoning in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Base tasks on real research questions or practical applications from biology practice.
• Verify solutions with Python code and provide clear documentation and correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in research, applied biology, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, BioPython.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (optional but mentioned).
• Experience with biological data analysis and bioinformatics tools.
