Building Management System (BMS) Operator

About the role

Khidmah is looking for a qualified Building Management System (BMS) Operator to monitor, operate, and maintain the BMS and HVAC systems across its facilities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and reliable building services while supporting occupant comfort and energy performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the BMS to guarantee optimal performance of all building systems.
• Operate, tune, and optimise HVAC equipment including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ventilation fans and pumps.
• Respond promptly to BMS alarms and equipment failures, perform initial troubleshooting and escalate when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of BMS and HVAC assets to detect faults early.
• Track building performance and energy consumption, proposing improvements for efficiency.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with internal teams and subcontractors.
• Assist technicians in diagnosing root‑cause issues and support testing, commissioning and calibration activities.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records and daily reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with BMS and HVAC operation and maintenance.
