Business Communications Manager – Middle East Region

About the role

ABB is seeking a Business Communications Manager for the Middle East region to lead local communication initiatives for its Smart Buildings and Smart Power solutions. You will work closely with global and regional teams to craft compelling stories, support lead‑generation activities, and enhance the corporate image across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local communication plans for two divisions within the Electrification Business Area.
• Execute communications activities using approved tools, guidelines, and budgets.
• Create and adapt content for targeted audiences, collaborating with marketing on promotional campaigns.
• Partner with the Global Business Communications Manager and regional Marketing & Sales leaders to align plans with growth objectives.
• Support events, trade shows, conferences, and cross‑divisional initiatives.
• Assist executive messaging for trade media, digital channels, and thought‑leadership pieces.
• Localise global campaigns and generate leads through advertising, sponsorship, and Pardot‑based campaigns.
• Own business content on local social and digital platforms for Smart Buildings and Smart Power.
• Manage the production and publication of brochures, catalogues, and other sales literature.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business communications within an industrial or technology environment.
• Strong written and editorial skills aligned with brand standards.
• Ability to collaborate with global, regional, and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience managing communication budgets and delivering results within approved limits.
