Business Development Executive

About the role

OSUS Logistics is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to expand its customer base in Jeddah. You will be responsible for promoting a full suite of logistics services, building relationships, and converting leads into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers, including importers, exporters, and traders.
• Generate new sales leads through field visits, calls, networking, referrals, and business development activities.
• Promote OSUS services such as freight forwarding, sea freight, transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand customer logistics requirements and coordinate with operations to deliver suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up with prospects, and convert qualified leads into business opportunities.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation.
• Fluent in Hindi and Malayalam; good English communication is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and comfortable with field sales.
• Understanding of the local business environment in Jeddah is preferred.
• Valid Saudi residency and work authorization is preferred.
