Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying, developing and securing new opportunities that align with Ihcc’s strategic objectives. The role spans construction, engineering, infrastructure, healthcare and public‑private partnership projects, focusing on strong client relationships and effective bid management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers and government entities.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming projects and investment opportunities to keep the pipeline active.
• Lead client‑facing aspects of strategic pursuits, coordinating with tendering, estimation, technical and commercial teams.
• Prepare Go/No‑Go evaluations, coordinate EOIs, RFQs and pre‑qualification questionnaires.
• Support the BD Director in developing winning bid strategies and provide market intelligence.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date opportunity pipeline in the CRM, tracking stage, probability, value and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or commercial roles within construction, engineering, infrastructure, healthcare or PPP sectors.
• Proven track record of winning large‑scale contracts and managing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of tender processes, pre‑qualification and bid strategy.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
