Business Development Manager – Western Region

About the role

Aon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Western Region, based in Jeddah. The role focuses on expanding Aon's market presence, driving sales growth, and building strong client relationships in line with the company’s vision and values.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives across the Western Region and collaborate with branch staff to meet growth and profitability targets.
• Identify, acquire, and nurture new client relationships to increase sales volume in Jeddah.
• Develop and execute a strategic business and sales plan to achieve or exceed targets.
• Conduct weekly goal‑setting and performance review meetings.
• Prepare and submit monthly sales reports via the company system.
• Research customer product needs, especially in emerging sectors such as e‑commerce, to support product development.
• Gather client feedback to inform service delivery and innovation.
• Generate leads through existing networks, negotiate terms, and monitor competitor activity.
• Create and implement action plans for lead generation and prospecting.
• Coordinate marketing activities and maintain accurate sales activity records.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposal presentations.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure seamless client engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the general insurance or financial services sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM tools.
