Business Development Representative

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive sales of ABS Quality Evaluations services across the assigned region, leveraging local affiliate networks to generate new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Sell ABS QE services using the strength of local affiliates’ business structure.
• Define and maintain target prospect lists and conduct client prospecting.
• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet defined targets.
• Provide sales forecasts and market/customer insights for planning.
• Prepare and submit proposals following ABS QE pricing guidelines and follow up with presentations.
• Support operations to ensure appropriate customer service and assist with collections as needed.
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Business Development or Country Manager on opportunities and challenges.
• Participate in special projects and teams to support overall business growth.
• Achieve or exceed delegated sales targets while adhering to expense budgets and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business/quality‑related experience.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• Business experience in manufacturing or technical services is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, high‑energy professional with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working in multicultural environments and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Focus on results and ability to navigate challenges.
