Business Development Representative (Remote – Saudi Arabia)

About the role

GitLab is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to work remotely from Saudi Arabia. In this role you will be the first point of contact for targeted enterprise and mid‑market accounts, collaborating with field sales, digital marketing, and customer success teams to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Execute outbound prospecting initiatives across your assigned territory to create qualified meetings and pipeline.
• Conduct high‑level discovery conversations to understand business needs, qualify opportunities, and create Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Research and prioritize target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and develop tailored outreach strategies.
• Maintain a multi‑touch outreach cadence (calls, emails, social) to engage multiple buyer personas.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly BDR‑sourced SAO targets by converting qualified prospects into opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in technology or SaaS.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
