Business Development Specialist

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its growth in Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with the sales and market intelligence teams to identify new opportunities, clarify customer needs, and build lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse sales and market data for a defined geographic region to pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Set clear objectives for each sales call, present standard materials, and ask targeted questions to assess customer interest.
• Develop and execute a customer contact plan, communicate product launches, and act as the first point of contact for queries and complaints.
• Identify potential customers through referrals, trade shows, and conferences, and generate new sales leads.
• Match customer requirements with Yokogawa’s product and service portfolio, propose suitable configurations, and guide customers toward purchase decisions.

Required profile

• At least one month of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to ask insightful questions.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to resolve issues promptly.
