Business Excellence Lead

About the role

Webook.com, Saudi Arabia's leading event ticketing and experience booking platform, is looking for a Business Excellence Lead to join its Business Excellence team. The role tracks performance, finds inefficiencies and turns data into simple insights and practical actions, working with teams across functions and markets. It suits someone early in their career who is analytical, curious and careful with detail.

Key responsibilities

• Track company performance across functions, markets and business lines, highlighting gaps, trends and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain KPI trackers and dashboards, keeping figures accurate, consistent and up to date
• Prepare data and analysis for the Weekly Business Review (WBR) and Monthly Business Review (MBR)
• Analyse costs, spending and resource use to find savings opportunities and measure the impact of improvements
• Map current processes to identify delays, duplication and manual work
• Collect and analyse data for retrospectives on major events, projects and initiatives, and track completion of agreed actions
• Build simple financial and operational models to support business cases for new initiatives
• Support cross-functional improvement initiatives by tracking progress and reporting status
• Work with the Data team on reporting requirements and with Finance on budget and actuals in performance analysis

Required profile

• 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Ability to explain findings clearly in simple written and visual form
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken
• Strong sense of ownership, structure and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Python, or experience in ticketing, events, e-commerce or technology, is a plus

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups and formulas)
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau
