Business Improvement Consultant

About the role

The Business Improvement Consultant drives enterprise‑wide initiatives that boost operational efficiency and enable transformational change within a healthcare organization. Reporting to senior leadership, the consultant designs and implements sophisticated processes that align with long‑term strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify strategic opportunities for process enhancements.
• Use data‑driven analysis to recommend innovative solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor cross‑departmental teams in diagnosing and solving complex business process issues.
• Conduct advanced process analyses, benchmark performance against industry leaders, and promote best practices.
• Lead change‑management activities to ensure seamless implementation of new processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related health science field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications required.
• Minimum 16 years of experience in business improvement, continuous quality initiatives, or project management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Additional quality certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or Just Culture are a plus.
