Business Unit Director – Data Center Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Business Unit Director to lead our Data Center and Digital Infrastructure business unit in Saudi Arabia. The role oversees multiple data centre projects, drives growth and ensures operational excellence for a fast‑growing, innovative organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, including client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
• Lead proposal development, presentations and pitches to win and retain contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners and government agencies.
• Oversee operational performance, profitability, client satisfaction and service quality across all data centre projects.
• Recruit, develop and manage a high‑performing team of facilities‑management professionals.
• Monitor industry trends, technological advances and regulatory changes to keep the business competitive.
• Travel across the Middle East to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in data centre operations, facilities management or related fields.
• Proven senior leadership and business development track record.
• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia and travel throughout the region.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
