Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role
The Buyer will act as the purchasing agent for Air Products, handling negotiations, supplier evaluations and procurement of goods and services needed for daily plant operations in Jubail.
Key responsibilities
- Develop purchasing strategies, monitor stock levels and manage purchase requisitions.
- Negotiate contracts, ensure delivery compliance and maintain detailed procurement records.
- Visit supplier plants, conduct vendor interviews and stay updated on market trends.
- Coordinate with internal departments, provide technical/commercial assistance and update ERP systems.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing, logistics or commercial experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in English (reading and writing) and knowledge of the Saudi market.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
