CAD Drafter – Civil & Structural Drawings

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Drafter Civil to produce civil, structural and architectural drawing sets for our Engineering & Consulting department. The role converts engineer mark‑ups, survey data and design intent into coordinated drawings and operates as a production‑focused individual contributor without design authority.

Key responsibilities

• Produce civil, structural and architectural drawings from sketches, mark‑ups, photographs and survey data, including plans, sections, elevations and reinforcement details.
• Apply department standards for title blocks, layering, line weights and annotation, and cross‑check drawings for clashes before issue.
• Maintain strict revision control, archive superseded drawings and ensure all deliverables are issued in the correct formats and naming conventions.
• Confirm scope, priority and deadlines, report progress regularly and be available during Saudi working hours for same‑day clarification.
• Perform any other duties reasonably required by the Head of Engineering.

Required profile

• 3 to 6 years of CAD drafting experience on building, infrastructure or fit‑out projects, preferably in contracting, construction or engineering consultancy.
• Experience producing complete civil and structural drawing sets, including reinforcement detailing.
• Experience with projects in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in civil/architectural drafting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for production drafting.
• Working knowledge of Revit/BIM (advantage).
