Cake Decorator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Cake Decorator to join our fast‑growing production team. You will bring customized cake designs to life while supporting baking operations and ensuring every order meets high standards of quality, presentation, and freshness.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out piping, drawing, finishing, and other decorating tasks on assigned cakes.
• Support senior decorators on complex or high‑volume orders when required.
• Assist with baking‑line activities such as mixing, portioning, baking, and other production tasks.
• Follow standard recipes, decorating guidelines, and production processes consistently.
• Move between decorating and baking sections based on production volume and operational needs.
• Maintain consistent decorating and baking techniques across different orders.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Monitor ingredients and materials, flagging shortages or issues to the section lead.
• Collaborate with the wider production team to ensure timely order completion.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and efficient.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in cake decorating, baking, pastry, or a similar production environment.
• Hands‑on experience with piping, drawing, and finishing techniques.
• Basic to solid baking experience, including mixing, portioning, and baking.
• Ability to switch between decorating and baking tasks based on production demands.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable technique.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to support different production areas.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
