Care Technician

About the role

The Care Technician provides on‑site maintenance support for guests at a luxury resort on Ummahat Island. You will respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all tools and equipment are kept in optimal condition.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and attend guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for wear or damage.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.
• Follow all company safety, security, and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 2 years of related maintenance or facilities experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and navigate stairs, ramps or ladders.
