CE Associate / CE Principal Engineer – Expression of Interest

About the role

Surbanajurong is inviting expressions of interest from experienced construction engineering professionals for senior positions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The roles focus on leading large‑scale construction projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and delivering value to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction engineering projects from planning through execution and delivery.
• Oversee technical, commercial, and client aspects across multiple projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables, construction methodologies, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Monitor project performance, including forecasting, progress tracking, cost, schedule, and delivery outcomes.
• Lead client engagement and support business development initiatives.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams while promoting best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, resolve complex construction engineering challenges, and support design coordination.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, technical presentations, and value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Chartered Engineer with a minimum of 10 years (CE Associate) or 8 years (CE Principal Engineer) of relevant construction engineering experience.
• Strong background in construction engineering project leadership, delivery, and technical coordination.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience delivering large‑scale building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
• Demonstrated technical leadership, problem‑solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience within multidisciplinary consultancy or engineering environments.
