CE Senior Engineer / CE Design Engineer (EOI)

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking experienced construction engineering professionals for future projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Two positions are open: a senior civil engineering role to lead construction activities and a design engineering role to prepare detailed engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction engineering activities from planning through site execution.
• Review and approve engineering documentation, construction methodologies, and technical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, quality requirements and HSE regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues to support project delivery and maintain construction quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development (Senior role).
• Prepare construction engineering documentation, technical drawings, work packages and engineering calculations (Design role).
• Support senior engineers in constructability reviews and project delivery.
• Assist with technical reports, method statements, material submittals and engineering updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• For the senior role: 8‑10 years of experience in construction engineering, project execution or site supervision.
• For the design role: 3‑6 years of experience in construction or project engineering.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality management and HSE requirements.
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary building, infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
