Chief Accountant & Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a strategic finance leader to build and manage our financial framework, drive sustainable growth and turn financial data into actionable business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting operations, ensure ERP/system integrity, manage monthly and annual closings, and prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Establish and continuously improve financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead the financial transition from the previous entity, closing its accounts and setting accurate opening balances for the new company.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, annual budgets and monthly management reports; track KPIs, monitor performance against budgets and analyse variances, revenues and profitability.
• Develop 3‑, 6‑ and 12‑month cash‑flow forecasts, monitor liquidity, financing facilities and payment schedules.
• Provide senior management with clear insight into current financial standing, future funding needs and actionable recommendations to prevent cash‑flow gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in budgeting, FP&A, accounting and cash‑flow management.
• Previous experience in the KSA or GCC market is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CMA, CPA, ACCA or CFA are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
