Chief Accountant

About the role

The Chief Accountant will lead the accounting function within a manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with standards, and timely reporting to support management decisions. This role is pivotal for budgeting, cost control, and inventory accounting, driving efficiency across financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Supervise payments in line with terms, service completion, and goods receipt procedures.
• Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures.
• Handle inventory valuation and conduct related financial analysis.
• Support cost accounting and manufacturing accounting activities.
• Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure smooth departmental workflow.
• Prepare ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5–8 years of overall professional experience, including at least 3 years in cost accounting within an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in budgeting, financial planning, and cost accounting.
• Very good command of English.
