Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

The Chief Technology Officer will lead the enterprise technology and digitisation agenda for a leasing and financing organisation, ensuring technology serves as a strategic enabler for growth, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Steer the development and governance of a 3‑5 year technology and digitisation roadmap aligned with the company’s growth and transformation goals.
• Lead modernization of core financing systems and integration of enterprise platforms such as ERP, treasury, CRM and digital channels.
• Design and enforce API‑driven, modular architecture to reduce manual processing and enable seamless product and partner integration.
• Oversee end‑to‑end IT operations, service reliability, security and compliance with SAMA regulations and internal governance.
• Drive automation initiatives including RPA, workflow orchestration and straight‑through processing to improve turnaround times and cost efficiency.
• Report technology performance and risks to the CEO and Board, and advise on investment trade‑offs and strategic adjustments.

Required profile

• Proven executive leadership experience in technology within the financial services or leasing sector.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale digital transformation, enterprise architecture and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with senior business stakeholders (CEO, Risk, Operations, Finance) and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
