Chronic Medication Category Manager

About the role

The Chronic Medication Category Manager will lead the product mix for chronic medication across Nahdi Medical’s retail network. This role ensures commercial KPIs are met while aligning the category strategy with overall business objectives and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a category strategy that aligns with division goals, monitoring customer, supplier, and market data.
• Create new product segments based on customer needs and market insights, adding first‑to‑market items to differentiate the assortment.
• Manage the SKU lifecycle: introduce new items, monitor performance, and execute delisting, liquidation or recall actions as needed.
• Define and maintain the distribution model, setting Minimum Display Quantities and optimizing assortment for new store formats.
• Negotiate with suppliers, develop joint business plans, and oversee contract renewals to maximize financial benefits.
• Control preferred product lists, negotiate terms, and communicate selections to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate planograms with space‑planning and marketing teams to enhance shopper experience.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years (36 months) experience in category management, preferably within pharmaceutical or retail environments.
• Proven ability to analyze market and sales data to drive strategic decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with suppliers, merchandising, and marketing teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
