Civil Construction Manager

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead all civil works on industrial and commercial projects. You will be responsible for delivering safe, high‑quality construction on time and within budget while coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all civil construction activities, including concrete works, structural works, finishing and fit‑out, steel structures, pre‑engineered buildings, and external works.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure execution aligns with approved plans, schedules, specifications, and budgets.
• Plan, sequence, and schedule construction activities, monitor productivity, and control costs.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, structural, steel, PEB, and MEP disciplines to prevent clashes and rework.
• Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical queries in collaboration with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and project management.
• Track progress against baseline schedules, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep fast‑track EPC and design‑build projects on track.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing civil construction projects in industrial or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple subcontractors.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to act quickly in fast‑track environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of concrete works, steel structures, pre‑engineered buildings, and MEP coordination.
• Familiarity with reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Understanding of construction planning, scheduling, and cost control.
