Civil Inspector – Water Transmission Projects

About the role

WSP is looking for a highly skilled Civil Inspector to lead on‑site civil engineering activities for water transmission and network projects in Jubail. You will ensure that all works meet design specifications, regulatory requirements and the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil activities from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with contracts, codes and regulations.
• Perform estimation, constructability reviews and construction management tasks.
• Develop project plans, schedules and budgets; monitor progress and report to senior management.
• Supervise site operations, coordinate with contractors, clients and regulatory agencies, and resolve design or construction bottlenecks.
• Conduct regular inspections, safety investigations and quality audits of third‑party and EPC contractors.
• Review method statements, installation drawings, testing procedures, decommissioning studies and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in civil inspection or related construction roles.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, industry standards and water infrastructure regulations.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets and multidisciplinary stakeholder teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and quality.
