Civil/Earthworks Supervisor – Mining Project

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Civil/Earthworks Supervisor to support the Ar Rjum green‑field gold project in the Central Arabian Gold Region. The role involves overseeing civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with engineering and super‑intendents on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute work plans for concrete, structural steel, excavation, backfill and architectural finishes.
• Coordinate material deliveries, schedule sequencing and resolve constructability issues.
• Perform detailed inspections, document findings and enforce safety and quality control procedures.
• Interpret design and vendor drawings, verify compliance with industrial codes and standards.
• Report progress, manage change orders and support turnover to startup/commissioning teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil or earthworks construction on large‑scale mining or infrastructure projects.
• Strong planning, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a remote, onsite environment.
