Clinical Instructor – General Medicine Program

About the role

Batterjee Medical College is looking for a qualified Clinical Instructor to join its General Medicine Program. The instructor will bridge theory and practice by supervising medical students during clinical rotations and ensuring they acquire essential clinical competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide students during clinical rotations and practical sessions.
• Deliver bedside teaching, case discussions, and clinical demonstrations.
• Support development of clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and decision‑making skills.
• Utilize simulation‑based training where applicable.
• Evaluate students’ clinical performance using structured assessment tools and provide timely feedback.
• Mentor students and assist them in overcoming academic and clinical challenges.
• Participate in student evaluations, OSCEs, and maintain accurate records of attendance and assessments.
• Contribute to course and program reports and use LMS and digital tools for documentation.
• Adhere to institutional policies, clinical regulations, and ethical standards while collaborating with faculty and hospital partners.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree in Medicine.
• Valid professional license / SCFHS registration (preferred/required).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching or supervision is preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient‑care skills.

Required skills

• LMS (Learning Management System) usage.
