About the role

Batterjee Medical College is looking for a qualified Clinical Instructor to join its General Medicine Program. The role involves supervising medical students during clinical rotations, linking theoretical knowledge with hands‑on practice, and fostering professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide students during clinical rotations and practical sessions.
• Deliver bedside teaching, case discussions, and clinical demonstrations.
• Support development of clinical reasoning, patient assessment, and decision‑making skills.
• Ensure safe, ethical, and professional conduct in clinical settings, using simulation‑based training where applicable.
• Evaluate students’ clinical performance with structured assessment tools and provide timely feedback.
• Mentor students, helping them overcome academic and clinical challenges.
• Participate in student evaluations, OSCEs, and maintain accurate records of attendance and assessments.
• Contribute to course and program reports and use LMS/digital tools for documentation.
• Adhere to institutional policies, clinical regulations, and collaborate with faculty, clinical teams, and hospital partners.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree in Medicine.
• Valid professional license / SCFHS registration (preferred/required).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• Experience in clinical teaching or supervision is preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient‑care skills.
• Professionalism, ethical conduct, and a student‑centered approach.
