Cloud Engineer (Public Cloud)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, management and operation of secure public cloud environments. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of cloud networking, cloud security, identity management and cybersecurity, and is eager to develop expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing and managing public cloud environments and landing zones.
• Support cloud network architecture, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs and network connectivity.
• Assist with secure connectivity between cloud platforms and on-premises environments.
• Support cloud security controls and best practices, and assist with IAM, user roles, permissions and access policies.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, network performance, security and availability, and troubleshoot basic networking, connectivity and security issues.
• Support cloud governance, security standards and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, DevOps and application teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud computing, networking, infrastructure or a related field.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and eagerness to learn.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of at least one major public cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Cloud networking and architecture, VPC/VNet and subnet design, routing and network security.
• Firewalls and VPNs, IAM and access management, DNS and load balancing.
• Cloud security and cybersecurity fundamentals, hybrid cloud connectivity.
