Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Safe Decision Co. is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining secure cloud architectures across public, private and hybrid environments, ensuring that client workloads meet the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess cloud security risks and define mitigation strategies.
• Configure, monitor and manage security controls on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud platforms.
• Implement identity and access management policies, including RBAC, SSO and privileged access management.
• Operate security monitoring tools, conduct log analysis, detect threats and lead incident response.
• Perform security assessments, audits and support compliance with ISO 27001, NIST and other regional regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve security posture and align cloud services with reliability and simplicity standards.

Required profile

• Strong experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands‑on knowledge of network security components such as firewalls, VPNs and segmentation.
• Proficiency in identity and access management, including role‑based access control and privileged access management.
• Experience with security monitoring, SIEM solutions, log analysis and incident remediation.
• Ability to conduct threat modeling, vulnerability management and apply security best practices.
