Cloud Solution Architect – Security

About the role

Microsoft’s Customer Experience & Success organization is seeking a Security‑focused Cloud Solution Architect to guide customers through security transformation on Azure and Microsoft 365. This customer‑facing role owns the technical relationship, strategy, and implementation of security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers define and implement secure strategies aligned with Microsoft XDR and Azure security workloads.
• Drive adoption and expansion of security services such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and other Azure security solutions.
• Collaborate with Azure Infrastructure, AI, Data, and Apps teams to embed security into cloud migration projects.
• Conduct architectural design sessions, delivering consensus‑based solution designs and roadmaps.
• Partner with FastTrack, Microsoft Services, and external partners to develop end‑to‑end enterprise security solutions.
• Provide thought leadership on threat protection, identity & access management, and cloud security across the Microsoft security portfolio.

Required profile

• Hands‑on project delivery experience in customer‑facing roles.
• Proven ability to lead technical security architecture discussions with senior executives, enterprise architects, and IT leaders.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex security concepts into actionable plans.
