CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator

About the role

Alqimma Equipment Company seeks a skilled CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join its Manufacturing & Production team in Jeddah. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC laser cutting machines to deliver high‑quality sheet‑metal parts while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for sheet‑metal production.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts safely.
• Read engineering drawings, CAD files, and work orders to determine cutting parameters.
• Calibrate machines, verify cutting quality, and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and optimize material utilization.
• Maintain production records and comply with safety procedures.
• Achieve daily production targets and prepare finished parts for the next stage.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.

Required skills

• CNC laser cutting machine operation
• CypCut software (knowledge of SigmaNEST or Lantek is a plus)
• Reading engineering drawings and CAD files
• Basic CNC programming
• Basic computer skills
