About the role
The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on CNC machines and related production equipment. This position ensures maximum equipment uptime and supports safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventive, and unscheduled maintenance on CNC machines, including after‑hours emergency repairs.
- Install upgrades and new equipment, manage special projects to improve machine efficiency.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies to minimise downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
- Report to the maintenance manager and coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting and repairs.
Required profile
- Diploma in Electromechanics Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and CNC machine services.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, and able to work with moderate supervision.
