Co-op Software Engineering Internship – AI-Assisted Development

About the role

Moneymoon is looking for a motivated intern to build internal operations tools using AI coding assistants. You will work on end‑to‑end development of a new Ops app, design AI‑driven agent loops, and ship features that automate manual processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build a new internal operations application end‑to‑end using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, from specification to shipped tool.
• Design and implement multi‑step AI agent loops that automate recurring manual Ops or Support tasks.
• Ship real features on Moneymoon’s core platform under senior engineer review and follow Git/PR workflows.
• Write automation scripts for reconciliation, monitoring and reporting to eliminate manual work.
• Document architecture, prompts, agent configurations and handover notes to ensure maintainability.

Required profile

• Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Computer Engineering, IT, Data Science or related fields.
• Experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) and building automation scripts, internal tools or small applications.
• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering, agent workflows, APIs, databases or tool‑calling systems.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, monitoring tools or software deployment processes.
