Commercial, Contractual & Cost Lead

About the role

Lead the commercial, contractual and cost management functions across major engineering and infrastructure projects for a global consultancy, ensuring strategic oversight, contractual compliance and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across commercial and cost management functions.
• Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with legal frameworks.
• Manage financial performance, cost control and commercial risk.
• Lead negotiations and resolve complex commercial and contractual matters.
• Build strong client relationships and engage key stakeholders.
• Mentor and supervise commercial teams to drive performance excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Finance or related field (post‑graduate qualifications highly regarded).
• 15+ years of commercial experience within engineering consulting organisations.
• Proven leadership in managing commercial teams and major project portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver successful outcomes.
