Commercial Director – MENA Region

About the role

The Commercial Director for MENA will lead commercial performance and launch execution of newly registered medicines across the Gulf and Levant. Based in Riyadh, the role requires extensive travel across GCC countries to manage distributors and field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for GCC and Levant in line with MEA priorities and global brand objectives.
• Own regional revenue delivery, sales performance and profitability for all newly registered products.
• Lead the annual Business Plan development, target setting and rolling forecast processes.
• Provide market intelligence to MEA General Manager and global teams for portfolio planning and launch sequencing.
• Build, lead and coach a team of Key Account Managers, establishing competency frameworks and performance standards.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical (MSLs), Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain to ensure compliant, high‑quality execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with key hospitals and tender‑driven markets.

Required profile

• Senior commercial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical or specialty‑healthcare sector.
• Proven track record of managing commercial operations across GCC and Levant markets.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive revenue and profitability.
• Experience leading and developing Key Account Management teams.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills with Marketing, Medical, RA, QA and Supply Chain.
