Commercial Manager – Major Programme (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial side of a major construction programme in Riyadh. The role will own a substantial and complex package of works, ensuring commercial performance from pre‑contract through to post‑contract stages.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of a large‑scale construction package, including contract administration and cost control.
• Oversee procurement, tendering processes and supplier negotiations.
• Control variations, change orders and ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Handle claims, risk assessments and contractual issues with contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams and support decision‑making throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Strong pre‑ and post‑contract commercial experience, preferably within a main‑contractor environment.
• Proven track record managing major packages or workstreams on large construction programmes.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
• Experience on projects in Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East is advantageous.
