Commercial Manager – Marine & Offshore Projects

About the role

The Commercial Manager will drive PFMC's commercial activities across ship repairs, conversions and marine/offshore structural block fabrication in Saudi Arabia. You will shape commercial strategies, secure new business, and ensure profitable execution of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine commercial strategies aligned with marine and offshore market trends in the Middle East, focusing on Saudi Arabia.
• Execute strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets for ship repairs, conversions and fabrications.
• Identify and onboard new clients, manage vendor registration for marine and offshore customers operating in KSA.
• Handle customer enquiries, prepare competitive quotations and tariffs, and follow up on tenders and contract negotiations.
• Perform estimating, commercial invoicing, and client reporting for work completed.
• Collaborate with the PaxOcean Saudi Operations team to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure internal compliance with contractual obligations and flag regulatory breaches.
• Assess commercial risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Negotiate and settle change/variation orders and support change management processes.
• Review and improve existing commercial procedures and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of commercial experience in a shipyard or maritime environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi maritime market; Middle‑East experience preferred.
• Proven team leadership and client management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration or Maritime Studies.
