Commissioning Engineer - BMS

About the role

Aala Tech, a systems integration and engineering company specializing in ELV, ICT, BMS, MEP and smart infrastructure solutions, is hiring a Commissioning Engineer for its Riaydh office. The role covers commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems, including HVAC controls, lighting, access and energy monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, configure, test and troubleshoot BMS systems including HVAC controls, lighting, access and energy monitoring
• Program and integrate BMS devices and controllers (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Tridium)
• Work with design, installation and project teams to ensure smooth system startup and handover
• Prepare and review commissioning plans, checklists and functional test reports
• Ensure systems meet client requirements and comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Provide onsite and remote technical support during commissioning and post-handover
• Train end-users on BMS operation and provide documentation support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or a relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 3-6 years of hands-on experience in BMS commissioning
• Ability to read control schematics, sequences of operations and system drawings
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required, and must be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate

Required skills

• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, control logic, sensors and communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, KNX)
• Experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure or Honeywell EBI
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
