Commissioning Engineer – Data Center Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and operational readiness activities for a large‑scale data center project in KSA. This site‑based role requires deep knowledge of mission‑critical infrastructure, commissioning execution, system integration, testing documentation, and performance validation across electrical, mechanical, ICT, and compute‑related systems.

Key responsibilities

• Support commissioning and IST execution across mission‑critical data‑center systems, ensuring safe and accurate testing per approved procedures.
• Coordinate with commissioning managers, contractors, OEMs, MEP, ICT, operations teams and client representatives during testing and validation.
• Review and support commissioning plans, method statements, test scripts, risk assessments and schedules.
• Execute GPU/accelerator burn‑in, thermal‑soak, and compute‑fabric validation activities, monitoring performance and documenting results.
• Track and close commissioning issues, punch‑list items, defects and non‑conformances.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in commissioning, IST execution, data‑center operations or mission‑critical infrastructure delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience on data‑center, high‑performance computing, industrial or similarly complex projects.
