Communication and PR Lead

About the role

The Communication and PR Lead will shape and execute Schneider Electric’s integrated communications strategy in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Country President, the role serves as the primary advisor on all internal and external communications, media relations, executive positioning, and crisis management, ensuring a clear and credible narrative for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead an integrated communications strategy aligned with Schneider Electric global frameworks and local business priorities.
• Own and manage the annual communications budget, ensuring spend efficiency and measurable impact.
• Establish governance, messaging frameworks, editorial planning, and approval processes for all communications activities.
• Lead and optimise the communications agency ecosystem, setting scopes of work, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Act as trusted strategic advisor to the Country President and senior leadership, crafting executive narratives, speeches, talking points, op‑eds and town‑hall communications.
• Drive internal communications that support strategy understanding, engagement, cultural alignment and transformation initiatives.
• Own external reputation and media narrative in Saudi Arabia, managing proactive storytelling, thought leadership and issues management.
• Maintain strong relationships with key Saudi media outlets, editors, journalists and opinion leaders.
• Position Schneider Electric as a leader in sustainability, energy transition and digital transformation, aligning thought leadership with Vision 2030 and corporate sustainability commitments.
