Communication and PR Lead

About the role

The Communication and PR Lead will shape and deliver Schneider Electric’s integrated communications strategy across internal and external channels, media relations, executive positioning, and crisis management in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Country President, the role ensures a consistent, credible narrative that supports business priorities and enhances the company’s reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead an integrated communications strategy aligned with global frameworks and local business goals.
• Own the annual communications budget, ensuring spend efficiency and measurable impact.
• Establish governance, messaging frameworks, editorial planning, and approval processes.
• Manage the communications agency ecosystem, setting scopes, KPIs, and performance reviews.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the Country President and senior leadership, crafting speeches, talking points, op‑eds, and town‑hall content.
• Lead internal communications to drive strategy understanding, engagement, and cultural alignment.
• Own external reputation and media narrative, building relationships with Saudi media outlets and leading press events.
• Position Schneider Electric as a thought leader in sustainability, energy transition, and digital transformation, aligning with Vision 2030.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate communications, public relations, and media relations, preferably in the energy or technology sector.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and develop executive communication assets.
• Strong track record in managing agency relationships and communications budgets.
• Experience handling crisis communications and issue management.
• Deep understanding of Saudi media landscape and stakeholder expectations.
