Community Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Community Officer to manage and develop relationships with our target community, drive engagement in our initiatives and programmes, and build a network of beneficiaries and partners that supports the organisation’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and maintain relationships with community members, partners and beneficiaries.
• Promote participation in programmes, events and entrepreneurship projects.
• Coordinate communication channels and organise community‑focused activities.
• Collect feedback and report on community impact and engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align community initiatives with business development goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related administrative field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role involving business development, programmes or entrepreneurship projects.
• Strong understanding of entrepreneurship and business development fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of operational processes and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing reports and presentations.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
