Construction Manager – Fire Protection System Upgrade

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the upgrade of fire protection systems across offshore platforms, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant execution in line with Saudi Aramco standards and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee offshore installation of firewater pumps, foam systems, monitors, piping, and suppression equipment.
• Coordinate demolition and replacement of existing fire protection infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Manage barge mobilization, offshore logistics, and material handling.
• Enforce safety protocols, obtain and close work permits, and implement the Contractor’s Site Safety Program.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with SAES, SAEP, SAMSS, and NFPA standards.
• Manage punch lists, mechanical completion checklists, and pre‑commissioning activities.
• Provide documentation for Project Record Books and As‑Built drawings.
• Liaise with Saudi Aramco PMT, Marine Department, and platform operators.
• Support FAT, IFAT, SAT, and PAT testing with Aramco representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Fire Protection Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore construction experience, preferably with Saudi Aramco.
• Certified in offshore safety and work‑permit systems.
• PMP certification or equivalent project‑management qualification.
