Construction Manager (Underground Cable) – Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the end‑to‑end execution of Extra‑High‑Voltage (EHV) underground cable projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing all construction activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the construction and installation of 132kV, 220kV and 380kV underground cable systems, including cable laying, jointing, termination, and reinstatement works.
• Manage Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crossings, duct bank installations, and cable trenching operations.
• Plan, monitor, and control project schedules, manpower, subcontractors, and material resources.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, utility authorities, and other project stakeholders.
• Track construction progress, resolve on‑site issues, and support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare progress reports, construction schedules, and resource planning documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering obtained through regular full‑time education.
• 12–15 years of experience in Power Transmission & Distribution EPC projects.
• Proven track record managing EHV underground cable projects (132kV, 220kV, 380kV).
• Strong background in cable route management, HDD crossings, joint bays, and restoration works.
• Demonstrated ability to lead construction teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
