Consultant – Family Medicine & Diabetology (Telemedicine)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Consultant in Family Medicine with a strong focus on Diabetology to provide comprehensive telemedicine care to adult and pediatric patients. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing diabetes and related metabolic disorders while addressing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient assessments, including medical history, remote physical examinations, medication reviews, and interpretation of lab results.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based management plans for type 1, type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, obesity, and other metabolic conditions.
• Coordinate care with endocrinologists, dietitians, diabetes educators, pharmacists, and primary‑care providers.
• Utilize telemedicine platforms and remote patient monitoring tools to deliver safe, high‑quality virtual care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with board certification or equivalent in Family Medicine.
• Experience in diabetes care and chronic disease management.
• Familiarity with telehealth regulations and best practices.
• Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
