Consultant Neurosurgery

About the role

The King Faisal Specialist Hospital seeks an experienced Consultant in Neurosurgery to deliver high‑quality patient care, lead clinical teams, and contribute to academic and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgical patient care, including inpatient, emergency, and on‑call services.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and ensure discharge planning.
• Supervise and train interns, residents, and fellows; participate in departmental education programs.
• Engage in clinical, basic, and translational research projects aligned with hospital policy.
• Undertake administrative duties assigned by department leadership and serve on hospital committees.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited medical school with completion of specialty/sub‑specialty training.
• American Board certification and equivalent membership/fellowship in the UK or Canada.
• Minimum seven (7) years of postgraduate experience in neurosurgery.
• Ability to work in accordance with hospital bylaws, policies, and regulations.
