Consultant Physician

About the role

The Consultant Physician provides comprehensive assessment and management of patients within Fakeeh Care, ensuring evidence‑based care that aligns with organisational policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges, including thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological and functional assessments.
• Develop and document evidence‑based care plans and ensure timely implementation.
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for in‑patients, creating discharge plans on admission and updating daily progress notes using SOAP format.
• Respond promptly to medical consultations and document all interventions.
• Complete and authenticate discharge summaries, provide discharge instructions and medication education.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching rounds and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to safety and cybersecurity protocols, and uphold Fakeeh Care’s code of conduct.

Required profile

• Medical degree and appropriate licensing to practice as a physician in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in inpatient care and ability to serve as Most Responsible Physician.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with SOAP note format.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care, teaching, and continuous quality improvement.
