Containerization Platform Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Containerization Platform Specialist to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes and related orchestration tools. The role focuses on ensuring secure, high‑performance environments while supporting development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provide technical support to developers, users, and operations teams on container technologies.
• Troubleshoot issues related to containerized applications, networking, storage, and orchestration.
• Monitor container environments to identify bottlenecks and optimise resource usage.
• Implement monitoring, logging and performance‑tracking tools for container health.
• Apply security best practices and conduct regular security audits in containerised environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to manage, deploy and scale containerised applications.
• Create and maintain documentation, guides and knowledge‑base articles on containerisation best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with containerisation, orchestration and DevOps practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with developers, operations and IT teams.
• Excellent documentation and knowledge‑sharing abilities.

Required skills

• Docker and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration tools).
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Scripting and automation using Bash, Python and Ansible.
• Monitoring, logging and metrics collection tools for containerised applications.
• Container security best practices, including image security, network security and access control.
• Experience with troubleshooting performance, resource utilisation and networking issues in container environments.
