Control Operator – DCS Engineer for Industrial Automation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Control Operator (also referred to as a DCS Engineer) to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise our industrial control and automation systems. The role ensures safe, reliable and uninterrupted plant operations, supporting both commissioning and day‑to‑day activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot DCS and PLC systems.
• Perform PLC/DCS programming, configuration, and system modifications.
• Support system commissioning and plant start‑up activities.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in industrial communication networks.
• Collaborate with plant operation and maintenance teams.
• Execute system integration and network configuration tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial process automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7, Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and FactoryTalk.
• Experience in network configuration, troubleshooting and system integration.
• Preferably background in cement plants or other continuous‑process industries.
